    • Avoid exercise, saunas, hot yoga, and excessive heat exposure.

    • Less common side effects include eyelid heaviness, asymmetry, or drooping — contact us immediately if this happens.

    Results:

    Day Of:

    • Arrive with a clean face, free from makeup, skincare, or SPF.

    • Wear comfortable clothing and avoid tight hats or anything that could apply pressure to the face.

Please notify us if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have an autoimmune condition, allergy to lidocaine, or have had any recent vaccines, infections, or travel.

    Aftercare Instructions:

Your comfort and results are our top priority. Please follow these post-treatment instructions to support healing and minimize complications:

    Immediately After:

    • Expect mild to moderate swelling, bruising, and tenderness. This is normal and usually resolves within 3–7 days.

    • Use ice packs gently, wrapped in a soft cloth, to reduce swelling for 5–10 minutes at a time.

    • You may take Tylenol (acetaminophen) if needed for discomfort. Avoid NSAIDs (Advil, aspirin) unless approved by your provider.

    First 24–48 Hours:

    • Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the area unless instructed.

    • Do not apply makeup for at least 24 hours.

    • Avoid exercise, heat exposure, saunas, and alcohol.

    • Sleep with your head slightly elevated to minimize swelling.

    First 7 Days:

    • Avoid facials, lasers, microneedling, or any treatments on the face.

    • Be gentle when cleansing your face or applying skincare.

Call us if you experience unusual pain, mottled/dusky skin, or prolonged blanching. These may indicate a rare vascular complication and should be assessed immediately.

    What to Expect:

    Immediate Results:

    • Filler provides instant volume and contour, but swelling may obscure your final result for several days.

    Healing Timeline:

    • Most swelling resolves within 48–72 hours, but minor puffiness or firmness may persist for up to 2 weeks.

    • Bruising, if present, may last up to 7–10 days.

    Final Results:

    • Expect to see full results at the 2-week mark, when the filler has fully settled.

    • Duration depends on the product and area treated, most fillers last 9–18 months.

    Touch-Ups:

    • Minor adjustments may be made 2–3 weeks post-treatment, if needed.

    • Maintenance appointments are typically spaced once or twice per year.

    Our Approach:

    • At Valere, we focus on subtle, harmonizing enhancements that preserve natural balance and structure. Our goal is not to change your features, but to enhance your confidence.

  • What to Expect:

Hyaluronidase is an enzyme used to dissolve hyaluronic acid (HA) filler, either due to aesthetic concerns, complications (such as lumps, migration, or asymmetry), or in the rare event of a vascular emergency. At Valere, we prioritize safety, precision, and informed decision-making when using this treatment.

    How It Works:

Hyaluronidase works by breaking down the bonds that hold hyaluronic acid molecules together, allowing your body to reabsorb the product more quickly. It begins working almost immediately and continues over the next 24–48 hours.

What to Expect During the Appointment

    • A detailed assessment will be performed before proceeding.

    • A patch test may be done if you’ve never had Hyaluronidase before, especially if there’s a history of allergic reaction to bee stings or animal-derived products.

    • The enzyme is injected into the same area where the filler was placed.

    • You may feel mild stinging or swelling at the injection site, this is normal and usually brief.

    Timeline & Results

    • You will see noticeable reduction in volume within a few hours, with full effects by 24–48 hours.

    • Some filler may take multiple sessions to dissolve, depending on the product used, how deeply it was placed, and how long it has been in the tissue.

    • Minor swelling or bruising can occur and typically resolves within a few days.

    Risks & Considerations:

    • There is a small risk of allergic reaction to the enzyme; your safety will be carefully monitored.

    • Hyaluronidase can dissolve both the targeted filler and your body’s naturally occurring HA, though natural HA regenerates over time.

    • This treatment is not always 100% precise and some volume loss in surrounding areas is possible.

    Our Approach:

At Valere, we use Hyaluronidase only when medically indicated or when the existing filler no longer aligns with your goals. Our aim is always to return the area to a natural, balanced state before considering any re-treatment.

  • To Prepare:

To ensure a successful treatment and optimal plasma quality, please follow these instructions before your PRP/PRF session:

    1 Week Before:

    • Discontinue NSAIDs (Advil, aspirin, ibuprofen), fish oil, vitamin E, garlic, turmeric, and other blood-thinners unless prescribed by your physician.

    • Limit alcohol intake and avoid smoking, both of which reduce platelet quality.

    3–5 Days Before:

    • Stay well hydrated, aim for 2–3L of water per day.

    • Increase intake of leafy greens, berries, and iron-rich foods to support healthy blood composition.

    • Avoid dental work, peels, or other facial procedures leading up to treatment.

    Day Of:

    • Eat a light, protein-rich meal 1–2 hours before your appointment.

    • Arrive well-hydrated with clean skin, free from makeup, creams, or SPF.

    • Dress comfortably and avoid wearing makeup or accessories over the treated area.

Notify us if you are ill, pregnant, breastfeeding, anemic, or taking antibiotics, steroids, or anticoagulants.

    Aftercare Instructions:

Your body will begin its natural healing response immediately following PRP or PRF. To support recovery:

    First 6–8 Hours:

    • Do not touch or wash the treated area.

    • Mild tightness, warmth, or redness is normal.

    • Avoid applying any products unless advised.

    First 24 Hours:

    • No cleansing, no makeup, no skincare.

    • The plasma matrix and microchannels need time to settle undisturbed.

    • Leave the skin bare, it will feel tight or slightly tacky. That’s normal.

    Optional:

    • A cool Arnica-based gel may be applied only around the treated area (e.g. cheeks or under-eyes) if there's visible bruising. Confirm with provider first.

    • A very gentle mist (such as Hale Derma) may be used for comfort, but only after the first 6–8 hours.

    • Refrain from strenuous exercise, heat exposure, and alcohol.

    • No facial massage or manipulation.

    48 Hours – 7 Days:

    • Avoid lasers, peels, or active exfoliants like retinols and acids.

    • Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer after the first 24 hours.

    • Apply SPF and avoid direct sun exposure.

    What to Expect

    • Pure plasma isolation

    • Low red blood cell contamination

    • No additives or anticoagulants

    • Some mild swelling, redness, or tenderness is expected and generally resolves in 1–3 days.

    • Bruising is common around the eyes or scalp. Ice packs may help if tolerated.

    • You may notice mild changes to lip movement, such as difficulty using a straw or speaking certain words, this is temporary and part of the process.

    • Minor swelling or small injection-point bruising may occur.

    What to Expect:

    Onset & Duration:

    • Results appear gradually over 3–5 days, with full effect at 2 weeks.

    • The effect is subtle, the upper lip appears slightly more defined and relaxed.

    • Results typically last 6–8 weeks, shorter than traditional neuromodulator treatments.
